Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect for the FSI Payments team in the Denver area. The role focuses on designing scalable, resilient AWS solutions and driving cloud adoption with senior client stakeholders.

You will partner with sales to craft strategies, author technical publications, and share best practices with the AWS solutions architect community. Travel is mostly regional, under 10%.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.

Responsabilités

• Participate in deep architectural discussions and design exercises to create world-class solutions built on AWS while ensuring solutions are designed for successful deployment and resilience in the cloud.
• Author and contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers, blogs and proof of concepts.
• In partnership with the sales team, formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS services.
• Build deep relationships with senior technical and business leaders and individuals within customers to enable them to be cloud advocates.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community.

Basic Qualifications

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
