Job summary

Orion Innovation is seeking an experienced Cloud Pre-Sales Solutions Architect in the United States to drive cloud transformations, migrations, and modernization for enterprise clients. The role partners with sales, customers, and delivery teams to shape winning solutions, proposals, and pricing models.

The ideal candidate will have strong AWS expertise, a deep understanding of migration strategies, and experience leading cloud transformation engagements across large organizations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8–15 years of cloud consulting, pre-sales, or solution architecture.
• 5+ years hands-on AWS experience.
• Experience leading cloud transformation engagements for enterprise customers.
• Strong understanding of managed services and cloud operations.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand objectives and cloud transformation goals.
• Lead discovery workshops and assessments for infrastructure, applications, databases, and cloud environments.
• Design end-to-end AWS cloud migration, modernization, and managed services solutions.
• Develop migration strategies including rehost, replatform, refactor, retire, and retain approaches.
• Create high-quality solution architectures, proposals, presentations, and pricing models.
• Collaborate with sales teams throughout the opportunity lifecycle, including client meetings, technical discussions, and executive presentations.
• Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs with technically sound and commercially competitive solutions.
• Define transition, transformation, and managed services operating models, including SLAs, governance, support processes, and automation.
• Work closely with delivery teams to ensure seamless handovers from sales to execution.
• Stay current with AWS services, cloud-native technologies, AI-powered operations, security, and industry best practices.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Pre-Sales Solutions Architect with strong expertise in AWS Cloud, application migration, modernization, and managed services. The ideal candidate will work closely with sales, customers, and delivery teams to define cloud transformation strategies, develop winning solutions, create compelling proposals, and support business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their business objectives, technical landscape, and cloud transformation goals.
