Job summary

Celonis is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to lead deployment of self-hosted containerized solutions for enterprise customers. You will translate customer requirements, drive integrations via APIs, and guide identity management (SSO/LDAP) to enable adoption.

You will champion secure, scalable Kubernetes deployments, collaborate with Product Development on platform enhancements, and ensure successful onboarding of Celonis across complex environments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in deployment/integration, 3+ years with containerized apps on Kubernetes.
• Active Government Clearance (Public Trust, Secret or Top Secret) with remaining eligibility.
• Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes distributions (EKS, AKS, OpenShift, etc.).
• Experience deploying, scaling, and maintaining highly available, secure containerized apps on Kubernetes.
• IaC experience (Terraform); Helm/Kustomize preferred; familiarity with ArgoCD/Jenkins/GitHub Actions/Ansible a plus.
• Cloud platform experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
• Experience with REST/SOAP API management, data ingestion/streaming (Kafka), SSO, LDAP, IT security, Agile.
• Experience with Python, SQL, data pipelines & ETL for large data volumes is a plus.
• Security/compliance knowledge for enterprise apps; strong customer-facing experience.
• Able to translate complex technical concepts for broader audiences.

The Team:

Solutions Architects are vital members of our project teams, often serving as the initial technical point of contact for our customers and key technical stakeholders for a successful deployment of Celonis. To ensure our customers achieve value, the team drives the technical setup required to leverage the full range of Celonis features and functionalities, including process mining, process automation, Action Flow, and task mining.

The Role:

As a Senior Solutions Architect specializing in containerized solutions, you will play a crucial, pioneering role in this new initiative. Your primary focus will be leading the deployment of these self-hosted solutions within our complex enterprise customer environments.

Given the unique nature of every customer environment, you will be the key liaison for translating the customer's technical requirements to ensure successful deployment on the client's infrastructure and successful integrations with their source systems. Furthermore, you will lead discussions on user management and authentication, acting as a technical partner to remove any technical barriers to user adoption.

The work you'll do:

You will serve as the central technical stakeholder for successful delivery and onboarding of the Celonis platform for our enterprise clients.

• Deployment Leadership: Lead complex technical discussions to analyze customer architecture, recommend optimal containerized solutions, and facilitate deployment, expertly managing expectations amidst technical constraints.
• Technical Integration: Establish real-time data integrations between customer systems and Celonis using APIs and internal tools.
• Adoption Enablement: Actively remove technical obstacles to maximize Celonis user adoption, clarifying technical risks and necessary trade-offs for stakeholders.
• Identity & Access Management: Guide customers on authentication (SSO), user/group management (LDAP), and provisioning best practices, removing technical barriers to adoption.
• Platform Optimization: Promote reusability by discerning between dedicated customer solutions and broader platform enhancements, collaborating directly with Celonis Product Development.

The qualifications you need:

• 6+ years in a deployment/integration role with at least 3+ years of proven deploying and managing containerized applications on Kubernetes.
• Role requires and active Government Clearance (Public Trust, Secret or Top Secret, with 18 months - 2 years of remaining eligibility
• Advanced knowledge with at least one specific Kubernetes distribution (Amazon EKS, Azure AKS, RedHat OpenShift, etc).
• Proven knowledge and best practices in deploying, scaling, and maintaining highly available, secure and resilient containerized applications on Kubernetes, ensuring efficient resource utilization and operational stability.
• Proven experience implementing infrastructure as code (IaC, e.g. with Terraform) is required; Helm or Kustomize experience is strongly preferred. Fluency with additional tools such as ArgoCD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Ansible, etc, is a plus.
• Experience with at least one of the major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) would be a plus
• Experience & interest in working with modern tech stack & methods like REST/SOAP API-Management, Data Ingestion & Streaming (Kafka or similar), SSO, LDAP, IT Security, Agile, etc.
• Experience in industry with experience to work on Python, SQL, data pipelines & ETL processes for large volumes of data is a plus
• Knowledgeable about security and compliance topics for enterprise applications
• Solid experience with project management, outstanding customer-centric & proven experience working with customers.
• A solution-oriented professional that enjoys deep technical discussions as much as transferring your technical knowledge into understandable terms to a broader audience

The base salary range below is for the role in the specified location, based on a Full Time Schedule. Total compensation package will include base salary + bonus/commission + equity + benefits (health, dental, life, 401k, and paid time off). Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and that the actual total compensation offer will be determined based on various factors, including, but not limited to, applicant's qualifications, skills, experiences, and location.

The base salary range below is for the role in Washington, D.C. based on a Full Time Schedule.

$128,000 - $150,000 USD
