Qualifications

• Experience designing knowledge graphs, graph data models, ontologies, and taxonomies.
• Hands-on experience with graph databases and semantic technologies (Neo4j, Stardog, Neptune, GraphDB).
• Strong enterprise data modeling and architecture experience.
• Experience designing semantic layers and governed approaches to enterprise data.
• Experience with Snowflake or comparable cloud data platforms.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical models and architectures.
• Experience delivering POCs, prototypes, or technical evaluations.
• Strong client-facing communication and technical documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design knowledge graphs, ontologies, taxonomies, and semantic data models.
• Define entities, relationships, hierarchies, constraints, and reusable semantic structures.
• Translate business and domain requirements into scalable technical architectures.
• Design semantic layers supporting analytics, applications, and AI systems.
• Integrate semantic architectures with enterprise data platforms.
• Develop and evaluate POCs and prototypes.
• Support LLM, RAG/GraphRAG, and natural-language data-querying use cases.
• Evaluate solutions for accuracy, scalability, governance, security, and production readiness.
• Produce clear architectural documentation and recommendations.
• Collaborate with engineering, data, AI, architecture, and business teams.

Requirements

• Experience designing knowledge graphs, graph data models, ontologies, and taxonomies
• Hands-on experience with Neo4j, Stardog, Amazon Neptune, GraphDB, RDF, OWL, SPARQL, Cypher, or comparable technologies
• Strong enterprise data modeling and architecture experience
• Experience designing semantic layers and governed approaches to enterprise data
