Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is hiring a Principal Solution Architect in Spring House, PA to design end-to-end drug discovery platforms using AI, automation, and data-driven techniques. You will shape an AI-enabled, modular stack that supports a Design–Make–Test–Learn loop and integrates across LIMS, SDMS, and data platforms.

You will collaborate with scientists, data engineers, and lab automation teams to deliver scalable, secure architectures while complying with governance standards and cybersecurity

Qualifications

• 5+ years in solution architecture, platform architecture, or systems integration.
• Experience delivering large, distributed, data-driven platforms.
• Life sciences / pharma R&D exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and govern modular architectures ensuring seamless data and workflow integration.
• Define integration patterns across platforms (LIMS, SDMS, data platforms, AI/ML).
• Create data/AI pipelines with quality, lineage, and accessibility considerations.
• Lead architecture for lab automation, enterprise platforms, and event-driven workflows.
• Collaborate with cloud, data, and ML Ops teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Work with scientists and data engineers to translate workflows into technical solutions.
• Govern AI readiness, secure-by-design, and regulatory-aligned governance.
