Weaver Consultants Group in Springfield, IL is seeking an experienced management professional to lead civil/environmental engineering efforts for solid waste projects. You will manage projects, oversee budgets and revenue metrics, and guide design activities from grading to gas collection systems.

Requirements include a B.S. in civil/environmental engineering, 8+ years of relevant experience, AutoCAD/Civil 3D proficiency, and strong communication. Travel and a valid driver’s license are expected.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Civil, Geological or Environmental Engineering required.
• 8+ years of professional civil/environmental engineering experience, solid waste focus preferred.
• AutoCAD/Civil 3D proficiency preferred.
• MS Word and Excel proficiency expected.
• EIT/P.E. license preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication, proposals and reports.
• Travel is required and a valid driver’s license is necessary.

Responsabilidades

• Manage projects and delegate responsibilities and tasks as assigned.
• Monitor Net Revenue Performed and Profit of Net Revenue Performed metrics.
• Assist and implement site layout, grading, drainage, utilities design for landfills, leachate and gas collection systems.
• Perform solid waste engineering design and permitting for landfills, transfer stations, recycling facilities.
• Prepare technical reports such as operating plans, CQA reports, and permit applications.
• Collect air and water monitoring samples; analyze technical data; write reports.
• Apply CAD tools to design projects; observe construction and document it.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and superiors.
