Job summary

Simply Solar is seeking skilled Solar Service Technicians to join their team in the Bay Area. This critical role requires someone with a solid understanding of solar and battery systems, who can effectively diagnose and resolve technical challenges.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience and the ability to communicate solutions clearly to customers. Compensation ranges from $25 to $35 per hour, along with comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, and a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of hands-on experience servicing solar PV systems.
• Minimum 1 year working with solar inverters and electrical panels.
• Experience with SolarEdge and Enphase systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot system performance issues across PV and battery installations.
• Perform inverter replacements, module swaps, and component repairs.
• Conduct detailed system inspections and identify potential problems.

Skills

Hands-on experience servicing solar PV systems

Troubleshooting AC and DC electrical systems

Strong diagnostic problem-solving skills

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work on roofs and lift equipment

Education

Valid California driver's license

Electrical background or training
