Job summary
SAIC is seeking a Software Solutions Architect to support the NRO program in Chantilly, VA. The role requires an active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph and focuses on designing, developing, and overseeing comprehensive software solutions across the IC and globe.
You will lead architectural reviews, drive modernization initiatives, and provide technical leadership across portfolio teams while ensuring alignment with government IT strategy and milestones.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/SE/IT or related field; 14+ years experience or equivalent.
- Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph.
- Experience as Software/Enterprise Architect or technical lead.
- Experience with large-scale software, cloud, or modernization initiatives.
- Knowledge of AWS/Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, and DevSecOps.
- Familiarity with DoDAF or TOGAF.

- Design scalable, robust, and secure software architecture solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Lead architectural reviews and drive improvements.
- Oversee development to ensure adherence to standards.
- Provide technical leadership across portfolio teams.
- Conduct risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
- Stay updated with latest technologies and incorporate them.
- Prepare documentation and present architectural decisions.
- Align Government IT Portfolio strategy with business goals and milestones.
