Job summary

Inflow is seeking a Software Test Engineer to support DoD and government stakeholders from Fairfax County, VA. The role requires active TS/SCI clearance and CI polygraph readiness.

You will design and execute test plans, participate in sprint processes, maintain QA documentation, and drive test automation efforts with DevSecOps collaboration. Ideal candidates have 8+ years in software design, QA/QC, and web-based testing, with Agile experience and strong automation skills.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required; CI polygraph expected.
• 8 years of software design, coding, configuration & release management.
• 5 years in QA/QC, automated tests, and web-based testing; Agile as core.
• 5 years experience with Web Based Testing Applications; 5 years Agile Dev.
• 5 years performing manual and automated testing; strong collaboration with DevSecOps.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans and ensure test coverage.
• Participate in sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
• Maintain QA documentation and test results reporting.
• Develop and run test automation programs and tools.
• Collaborate with DevSecOps and customers for quality.
• Define acceptance criteria for backlog items.
• Identify and report defects; verify fixes.
• Conduct QA assessments for new/modified features.
