Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong hands-on experience developing software in C++ and Python.
• Experience supporting software integration, platform engineering, DevSecOps, or modeling and simulation environments.
• Experience with containerized application deployments and Linux-based development or runtime environments.
• Experience developing or maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated test workflows.
• Experience with secure software development practices and remediation of code-quality or security findings. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document technical work clearly.
• Active Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer objectives and technical requirements into executable engineering tasks, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines and release workflows for software, containerized components, and deployment configuration.
• Develop and integrate secure software and platform services using C++ and Python.
• Package and deploy applications in containerized environments and troubleshoot related runtime, networking, storage, and access issues.
• Support secure DoD DevSecOps practices, including code quality checks, security scanning, configuration management, and release readiness.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated tests for unit, integration, regression, and system-level verification.
• Diagnose software, integration, and performance issues across application, platform, and messaging layers.
• Produce clear technical documentation, including guides, design materials, integration notes, test evidence, and release artifacts.
• Participate in code reviews, technical reviews, risk discussions, and coordination across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Contribute to AI-enabled workflows that improve engineering analysis, knowledge management, or documentation support.
