Lockheed Martin is seeking a Level 6 Software Engineering Manager capable of obtaining a TS/SCI clearance to work from our Longmont, CO location. You will oversee software and infrastructure teams, aligning programs with management objectives, budgets, and schedules.

You will lead a high-performing, distributed team, ensure software standards, and drive continuous improvement while collaborating with customers and cross-functional partners to deliver mission-critical capabilities.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading software and infrastructure teams.
• Experience staffing and coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Eligibility for a security clearance (TS/SCI preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead and integrate software engineering and infrastructure functions to deliver mission-critical capabilities.
• Partner with program management, customers, and cross-functional teams to define and execute development and operations strategies.
• Own engineering budget, schedule, and metrics; drive efficiencies and resolve staffing/technical challenges.
• Translate requirements into actionable engineering plans and deliverables.
• Communicate roadmap items, trade-offs, and status updates to senior leadership and partners.
• Drive adoption of emerging technologies, best practices, and automation to improve reliability and performance.
