Senior Software Engineering Manager – Medical Devices

An innovative medical device company are looking for a Lead Embedded Software Engineer to join their R&D team developing leading solutions for the medical device/bio tech space.

You will be managing a multi-disciplinary team of experts in mechanical, electrical, and software systems. This role involves designing and developing advanced embedded software for a complex, multi-component medical device systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and optimization of embedded software for a medical device system
• Implement real-time control loops and feedback systems
• Validation & verification of hardware systems

Key Skills/Experience:

• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python
• Version control and repository systems (Git etc.)
• Experience with regulated environments (Medical device preferred)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern software development best practices
