Base-2 Solutions is seeking an experienced software professional to support biometric systems in a DevSecOps environment. You will design, implement, and maintain complex C# applications, APIs, and ETL processes, collaborating across engineering and operations to ensure system availability and high performance.

The role requires strong experience with microservices, logging, and enterprise search capabilities, plus familiarity with AWS services and containerization.

Responsibilities

• Work in a DevSecOps environment to ensure availability of biometric systems and data for end users.
• Lead integration, maintenance, and monitoring of software systems to ensure constant availability of technical resources.
• Design, implement, and enhance complex software systems including processing-intensive analytics, real-time systems, and business management information systems.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineers, Software Engineers, Architects, and Operations teams to develop enterprise Automated Facial Extraction and Matching (AFEM) capabilities.
• Participate in test, staging, and production deployments ensuring system reliability and performance.
• Develop and maintain software applications using C#.
• Implement API development, ETL processes, and enterprise search capabilities such as Elasticsearch.
• Utilize DevOps tools like GitLab or Jenkins for CI/CD.
• Monitor automated system integration tests and resolve system abnormalities.
• Foster collaboration within the team to deliver high-quality solutions to customers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with biometric systems and SDKs.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and DevOps tools.
• Experience with AWS cloud-based architecture and services like Lambda.
• Experience with GPU processing using CUDA, PyTorch, etc.
• Knowledge of GraphQL, Python, Bash, Apache NiFi, and Kafka.
• Active certifications such as Security+ or CE.
• Proficiency with Linux server management and tools optimized for cross-platform environments.
