Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years in robotics, computer vision, or autonomy; 3+ years in Visual Odometry or VIO.
• Experience on Autonomous Vehicle platforms, including development, testing, or deployment.
• Expert in modern C++ (C++14/17/20) and best practices.
• Strong knowledge of epipolar geometry, camera calibration, bundle adjustment, and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with VO/SLAM libraries such as ORB-SLAM, VINS-Fusion, or OpenVINS.
• Experience with ROS/ROS2, Linux, and version control.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop real-time VO pipelines using monocular, stereo, or RGB-D inputs.
• Implement localization algorithms including VIO, feature tracking, and scale recovery.
• Integrate VO with IMU, GPS, and other sensors for improved pose estimation.
• Collaborate with mapping, perception, and control teams to integrate localization.
• Develop production-quality C++ code for embedded compute platforms.
• Analyze performance and improve reliability, accuracy, and robustness.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Keep up with SLAM, VIO research and transition techniques to production.
