Job summary

Anduril Industries in the United States is seeking experienced video pipeline engineers to develop real-time and asynchronous video feeds from remote deployments to web and virtual reality clients. These engineers will design ISR payloads for drones and camera systems used in our products, with some overlap into computer vision areas such as object detection.

Prior experience with relevant video technologies is required, and candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S.

ABOUT THE TEAM

ABOUT THE JOB

The role of our video pipeline engineers is to develop real-time and asynchronous video feeds from remote deployments to web, virtual reality clients, computer vision front-end and back-end pipelines. Video pipeline engineers help design the ISR payloads for drones and the camera systems used in our other existing and future products. They also have some computer vision overlap with e.g. object detection. Prior experience with relevant video technologies is required for this role.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of general C++ software experience
• BS degree in an engineering discipline
• General understanding of camera hardware and video formats
• Solid understanding of writing reliable, multi-threaded software
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

• Scalable cloud solutions for video in AWS, Azure, GCP
• Kubernetes

• Linux platform: V4L2 camera API, VA-API, ffmpeg, gstreamer, OpenGL

US Salary Range

$191,000 - $253,000 USD
