Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• BS in Computer Science or related field (or 8+ years equivalent work experience).
• Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients and team members.
• Experience leading encryption libraries and key management services is a plus.
• 8+ years Java development on Linux/Windows or 8+ years with C/C++.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Rust.
• 8+ years experience with REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodology and software development management practices.
• 5+ years cryptographic engineering experience, including key management.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical changes across a multi-year software effort.
• Remove customer-specific dependencies and abstract environment configurations.
• Architect flexible interfaces for authorization workflows and key management operations.
• Collaborate across matrixed and virtual teams to deliver project milestones.
• Oversee components including clients, Portals, Proxy services, and OpenBao-based key management services.
