Job summary

A defense contracting company is seeking a skilled Software Engineer with experience in software development using languages such as C, C++, and Java. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions, managing data flows, and working with various development tools. Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI w/ Polygraph clearance required.
• Experience with container technologies (ie. Docker).
• Experience creating, managing, and troubleshooting complex operational data flows.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Develop software solutions based on system performance standards.
• Design, develop, and modify software using scientific analysis and mathematical models.

Skills

Software development using languages such as C, C++, Python, Ruby, Perl, JavaScript

Experience with agile development processes

Debugging existing software and correcting defects

Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools

Bash scripting to automate processes

Experience designing and implementing Java solutions

Software development using continuous integration practices

Education

Master's degree in computer science or related discipline with 10 years of experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline with 12 years of experience

14 years of experience in relevant programs without a degree
