Job summary

IBM is seeking a Data Scientist with Advanced Analytics to enhance a classified ISR data and analytics service. You will build predictive models, analyze diverse data, and deliver data-driven insights to support decision-making.

Responsibilities include designing algorithms, using Python/Java, with tools like Jupyter, Pandas, and MongoDB. You will work with stakeholders and maintain CI/CD with Git platforms in on-prem or hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• Requires US Citizenship with TS/SCI clearance or eligibility per DISS.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM fields.
• 4+ years of Python or Java programming experience.
• 4+ years designing and programming applications in hybrid cloud or on-prem environments.
• Experience with database technology and data validation.
• Experience with custom ETL development (e.g., Apache NiFi).
• Experience designing algorithms to infer relationships between events or entities.
• Ability to prototype end-to-end solutions on quick timelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop Predictive Models using optimization, discrete-event simulation, and rules programming (IBM CPLEX, Gurobi).
• Analyze diverse data with Python and tools like PyCharm, VS Code, Jupyter Notebook, Pandas, NumPy, Dask.
• Deliver data-driven insights for business optimization in domains like supply chain, pricing, and risk.
• Collaborate to deliver data-driven solutions and ensure effective data management.
• Maintain technical expertise with Git-based workflows and CI/CD tools (Docker, Podman, Jenkins).
