Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer Level 2 to support the VISTA Inference Processing Team. This role develops, maintains, and enhances complex software systems, including analytics, data processing, real-time systems, and business information systems.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.
• 14+ years of Software Engineer experience in similar scope.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• AI/ML development or integration experience.
• Experience with Terraform and AWS.
• Experience with C++, Python, and/or Golang.
• Experience writing high-performance, GPU-enabled applications.
• Experience with large-scale streaming data analytic systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Integrate software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
• Develop data queries for databases or data repositories.
• Develop or implement algorithms to meet performance and functional standards.
• Assist with testing procedures for software components.
• Write or review software and system documentation.
• Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning.
• Oversee one or more software development teams and ensure timely delivery.
