Amatriot Group, LLC is seeking a senior Software Engineer (SME) in Chantilly, VA to design, develop, and scale software solutions supporting core IT infrastructure. You will integrate third-party components, modernize legacy systems, and own all phases of the SDLC.

The role emphasizes collaboration with lead architects on high-performance applications for distributed data processing and advanced analytics, with a strong focus on DevOps, security, and modern platforms.

Formación

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering or related fields.
• Master’s degree preferred in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
• Experience supporting federal, defense, intelligence, or highly regulated environments is preferred.
• Expertise in cloud-native architectures, microservices, containers, and modern application platforms.
• Experience addressing cross-domain or cross-enclave interoperability challenges.
• Knowledge of zero trust architecture and secure enterprise application development.
• Relevant certifications in cloud technologies, software architecture, Agile, cybersecurity, or DevSecOps.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and scale software solutions supporting core IT infrastructure.
• Programmatically integrate third-party components and implement custom features.
• Collaborate with lead architects to build and deploy high-performance applications for large-scale distributed data processing, statistical modeling, and advanced analytics pipelines.
• Optimize legacy systems through code refactoring and automation.
• Improve DevOps processes to support software development and delivery.
• Own all phases of the SDLC and participate in technical milestone reviews, architecture design sessions, and resource estimation.
• Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
• Foster continuous learning across engineering teams.
