Zallpy Digital is seeking a senior software engineer to join a globally distributed team. You will investigate incidents, analyze databases, read code, and collaborate across teams to identify root causes and solutions.

The role emphasizes structured problem analysis, Java-based work, and PL/SQL proficiency in a remote setting within Brazil. Applicants should have a related degree or equivalent experience, excellent English, and a background in software engineering and technical support

• Good level of English for written and verbal communication with international teams.
• Senior-level experience in software engineering and development.
• Previous experience working in technical support teams or contexts.
• Strong investigation, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze problems in a structured way, formulate hypotheses, and investigate until possible causes are identified.
• Knowledge of data structures and relational databases.
• Experience or knowledge of Oracle and MySQL.
• Experience with Java, considering the technical foundation of the Lyric Reporting area.
• Knowledge of PL/SQL.
• Ability to understand code and apply this knowledge during technical investigations.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with engineers and teams.

• Experience with cloud environments, such as AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of techniques for building resilient and fault-tolerant systems, including rate limiting, circuit breakers, retry patterns, and exponential backoff.
• Familiarity with TDD and software quality practices.
