Job summary

Perk is expanding its North American engineering footprint and seeks a Senior Software Engineer to help shape a new product launch from the ground up. You’ll influence both product and technical strategy in a small, autonomous team, owning critical decisions and driving impact across squads.

You will mentor peers, codify standards, and partner with Product Management to align roadmaps with business goals while delivering maintainable, scalable systems for the long term.

Qualifications

• Translates complex business goals into technical roadmaps and de-risks ambiguous projects.
• Architects scalable, evolvable systems and data models with performance and maintenance in mind.
• Defines and upholds engineering excellence, including CI/CD, testing strategies and coding standards.
• Establishes frontend architecture patterns, state management, performance budgets and end-to-end testing.

Responsibilities

• Shape the bigger picture by contributing to quarterly goals and long‑term vision with Product/Engineering Managers.
• Architect for today and tomorrow by writing design documents and guarding technical quality.
• Lead across boundaries, coordinating multiple teams and aligning stakeholders.
• Mentor and uplift the engineering organization through reviews, feedback and design discussions.
