Job summary

Charles Schwab Technology Services seeks a Senior Software Engineer in Omaha to modernize liquidity platforms, data capabilities, and cloud-based solutions that support regulatory reporting and funding operations. You will design and deliver scalable software across on-prem and cloud environments, mentoring teammates while influencing architectural direction.

• 8+ years designing, developing, and supporting enterprise software applications.
• Proficiency with .NET 8+ and object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience building scalable applications, services, APIs, and data integration solutions.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Bamboo, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies.
• Experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar platforms.
• Experience with Google BigQuery or comparable data warehouse technologies.
• Experience utilizing cloud-native services within GCP, AWS, or Azure environments.
• Knowledge of software design principles, system architecture, and modern development practices.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills used to deliver business outcomes.

As a Senior Software Engineer within the Liquidity & Funding Technology organization, you will play a critical role in modernizing the platforms, data capabilities, and cloud-based solutions that support regulatory reporting and funding operations across the firm.

• Experience with modern UI frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Experience leading modernization, cloud transformation, or greenfield development initiatives.
• Strong adaptability and continuous learning mindset.
• Experience operating within Agile delivery environments and cross‑functional teams.
