Responsibilities

• Review and approve modification of databases and DBMS.
• Instruct staff to write and code database descriptions and identifiers.
• Direct database development and approve project scope.
• Assess project requests for time and cost estimates.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures for data protection.
• Schedule and supervise installation and testing of new products and improvements.
• Develop standards to guide software use and protect information.
