Job summary

Centene Corporation designs, develops, and implements complex enterprise software solutions. You will collaborate with data modelers, architects, business analysts, data stewards, and SMEs to provide design, technical analysis, development/configuration, testing, and support that represent the business across the enterprise.

Create, optimize, and re-engineer Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL) stored procedures, functions, views, and tables that stage and transform data for correspondence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (statistics, mathematics, engineering, CS)
• 4–6 years of related experience or equivalent
• Experience with SQL Server development (T-SQL, stored procedures, index tuning)
• Experience with C# development
• Experience with SSIS development
• Knowledge of EDI and healthcare data preferred

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement complex enterprise software solutions
• Collaborate with data modelers, architects, business analysts, data stewards, and SMEs
• Create, optimize, and re-engineer SQL Server stored procedures, functions, views, and tables
• Maintain the in-house letter application (C# to produce Word, PDF conversion via third-party component)
• Develop and support SSIS packages for ETL and document workflows
• Schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot jobs with ActiveBatch
• Produce technical documentation and communicate issues to stakeholders
