Actalent is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead a small Agile Scrum team adapting the Battlespace Operational Readiness Game (BORG) to the Operational Test and Training Infrastructure (OTTI) for STARCOM. You will build and integrate live, virtual, and constructive training environments to support space operations and testing.

The role involves hands-on work with STK, AFSIM, Cesium, ArcGIS, and Unity, applying DevSecOps and rigorous code reviews while collaborating with DoD stakeholders to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 15–20 years of experience in software engineering.
• Experience with Modeling and Simulation, 3D data visualization, or systems integration and test.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small Agile Scrum team in design, development, integration, and delivery of software solutions.
• Plan, architect, and implement components for live, virtual, and constructive training environments.
• Drive DevSecOps practices and establish best practices for software design and testing.
• Integrate STK/AFSIM into software applications and validate results.
• Design 3D data visualization using Cesium/ArcGIS/Unity for training scenarios.
• Work with public APIs (REST, ASP.NET) and C#/C++ assemblies for integration.
• Provide leadership within Agile framework as Scrum Master or Product Owner.
