Job summary

Nightwing is seeking a talented security-focused software engineer to develop at the lowest levels for our commercial product team. You will work on systems-level security software across Linux, kernel drivers, and cryptographic components.

Ideal candidates have strong C/C++ skills, experience with OS internals, and a passion for safeguarding national security in collaboration with government and commercial customers. This role is on-site in Huntsville.

Qualifications

• Experience with C/C++ development.
• Exposure to Linux OS internals and debugging.
• Familiarity with assembly languages and calling conventions.
• Experience leading and delivering software products to government and/or commercial customers.
• Kernel/Driver development and build systems experience.
• Knowledge of TPM, Secure Boot, cryptography, and cross-architecture assembly.
• Experience with virtualization and container technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop software for our commercial product team securing systems at the lowest levels.
• Contribute to security engineering and systems-level software projects.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver verified software for national and commercial customers.
