Job summary

Susquehanna International Group, LLP is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Research Tech team. You will build applications and services that support trading strategies, collaborating with researchers and traders on end-to-end features from design to production.

You’ll work across the stack—C#/.NET, React, and Python—delivering scalable workflows and data-intensive services in a highly collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong hands-on experience in C#, Python, and React.
• Full-stack comfort — backend services through frontend interfaces.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to iterate quickly with quantitative researchers, traders, and other developers.
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Research Tech team, which builds the applications, services, and platforms that support trading strategies and make research workflows more scalable across the firm. You’ll work at the intersection of engineering, quantitative research, and production infrastructure — with meaningful ownership of the systems that researchers and traders rely on every day.

This is not your typical engineering job. You’ll partner directly with quantitative researchers and trading leads on a daily basis — designing, building, and supporting the applications they use to explore ideas, run analyses, and put strategies into production. How you’ll make an impact:

• Build research applications, services, and platforms that support trading strategies — spanning beta analysis across baskets of stocks, news aggregation, trading-opinion workflows, and the production infrastructure needed to run these capabilities reliably
• Partner directly with quantitative researchers and traders on a daily basis to understand their needs, translate them into working systems, and deliver features end-to-end from design through production
• Improve production behavior of the platform — observability, debugging tooling, and performance tuning under load
• Work across the full stack — C# and .NET backend services, React and JavaScript frontends, and Python for data-intensive services — collaborating with adjacent engineering teams across the firm and internationally
