BrainGu, a technology company building developer platforms, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join its Mission-Apps-as-a-Service offering. You will architect high‑scale, secure software and mentor emerging talent while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.

You’ll work with React on frontend, Python/Django on backend, and lead with secure coding, performance monitoring, and scalable deployment strategies in a remote-friendly environment across the US.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with web applications.
• Strong front-end and back-end proficiency in React and Python/Django.
• Experience implementing security, performance tuning, and code quality practices.
• Ability to mentor others and collaborate with Product/Design across teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Champion security standards and rigorous deployment strategies.
• Monitor, analyze, and optimize application performance with instrumentation.
