Job summary

Insight is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to join the Application Development department in a fully remote role.

You will work across concurrent engagements, owning features end-to-end with Java, Spring Boot, and modern frontends (React/Angular) on Google Cloud, while driving technical decisions and mentoring engineers. The role emphasizes ownership, proactive problem solving, and collaboration with stakeholders to deliver high-quality software across engagements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Production delivery of full-stack web applications (frontend and backend).
• Production delivery experience on Google Cloud Platform.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement full-stack features across Java/Spring Boot services and React/Angular frontends on Google Cloud.
• Own features, services, and integration areas end-to-end, including estimates, design docs, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Identify problems in code, architecture, or delivery and drive to resolution proactively.
• Lead engineering discussions, review code, onboard new engineers, and mentor team members.
• Follow and improve agent-driven delivery procedures and ensure code correctness.
• Participate in customer sessions, present technical options, and document decisions.
