Job summary

Dragos is seeking a Software Engineer to build the experiences security professionals rely on. You’ll own features from concept through delivery, balance user experience with technical quality, and collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to turn ambiguous problems into well‑designed solutions.

We seek 6–8+ years of software experience and modern front‑end skills (React, TypeScript, testing frameworks, state management, build tooling), plus experience with AI‑assisted development tools

Qualifications

Strong engineering fundamentals
6–8+ years of professional software engineering experience
Experience with modern front‑end technologies such as React and TypeScript
Experience with testing frameworks and state management
Experience with modern build tooling
Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools

Responsibilities

Own the design, implementation, and evolution of features from concept through delivery
Balance user experience, technical quality, delivery, and long-term maintainability
Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to turn ambiguous problems into well‑designed solutions
Identify opportunities to simplify systems, reduce technical complexity, and improve the developer experience
Contribute to evolution of architecture, tooling, and engineering standards
Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering effectiveness and quality
