Job summary

Canopy, Inc. in the SF Bay Area is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop, enhance, and scale our healthcare-focused products. You will build both front-end and back-end features, contribute to a scalable Kubernetes-based platform, and deliver high-quality solutions.

You’ll collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers in a remote-first environment, participate in code reviews and architecture discussions, and mentor teammates to foster growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in development.
• Proficiency with modern front-end frameworks (e.g. Vue.js and React) and backend technologies, especially Node.js.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (e.g. GCP, AWS, Azure) and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with database systems (SQL and NoSQL), API design, and microservices architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively, particularly in a remote setting.
• Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
