Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, seeks a senior software engineer to design and build data processing pipelines for ML on large RF datasets. You will impact products using signal processing tech and real-time performance benchmarking.

Role requires leadership in scalable cloud/on-prem environments, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a strong background in Python, NodeJS, Linux, Docker/Kubernetes, and AWS.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree with 8+ years software engineering experience and 6+ years Python and NodeJS.
• 6+ years Linux/DevOps (command line) and 6+ years containerized infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes).
• 6+ years experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, AWS CodeCatalyst, and/or GitHub Issues and 6+ year AWS cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Address data security and availability of data as streams.
• Manage distribution of algorithms across cloud infrastructure.
• Implement data science algorithms at scale with real-time performance benchmarking and iterative improvement.
• Collaborate with designers to ensure responsive backend services.
• Leverage leadership to develop reusable components and enable collaboration between research and production teams.
