CoStar Group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in San Diego to drive full‑lifecycle development of data‑intensive Real Estate Analytics products. You will own features from coding through deployment, collaborating with product, design and leadership to shape scalable architectures.

The role emphasizes OOP, modern server‑side frameworks, and front‑end skills, with cloud experience and NoSQL as pluses. On‑site four days a week with one remote day, compensation reflects seniority.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with AI-assisted development workflows in production.
• Solid understanding of object oriented programming.
• Knowledge of server-side languages and frameworks (C#, .NET, Web API, Node).
• Knowledge of modern front-end (JavaScript, React) and databases (SQL Server).
• Experience with source control and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test and deploy scalable data-intensive applications.
• Own work from development through deployment and production support.
• Collaborate with engineers, product owners, designers and leadership.
• Contribute to technical architecture and code quality improvements.
• Promote evolution of processes including AI-assisted workflows.
• Develop deep understanding of CoStar analytics products.
