Multi-Level Technical Leadership: Provide multi-level technical leadership by coordinating project workstreams for senior engineering peers, while proactively scaling team expertise through the mentorship and development of early-career engineers. Regulatory Engineering Leadership (CRA): Lead the technical definition and execution of major projects associated with the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). Drive the architectural integration of "security-by-design" principles across the employer's cloud infrastructure and connected device services to meet global regulatory standards. AI-Augmented Development Leadership: Drive developer productivity by championing the integration of Generative AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Google Gemini) into the software development lifecycle to accelerate code generation, unit testing, and complex debugging. Defining Engineering Standards: Establish and document "gold standard" project templates and methodologies-including automated compliance frameworks and AI-assisted development best practices-to be adopted as the departmental blueprint for future cloud software projects. Operational Excellence & Risk Mitigation: Manage complex pre-production environments to proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery of mission-critical services while maintaining system integrity for end-users. Strategic Communication & Planning: Define and execute comprehensive communication plans for major technical initiatives and infrastructure shifts, ensuring alignment with business goals and transparency for all senior stakeholders.
