Job summary

AF Group is seeking an experienced software developer/architect to design, develop, configure, test, and document applications across JavaScript, Java, .Net, and other OO languages. You will provide production support, own incidents, and lead solution delivery for programs and projects within an agile DevOps environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with product owners, stakeholders, and the Product Team to ensure developer-ready user stories, maintain resiliency, and meet schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information services or related field.
• Continuous learning and ongoing certification are highly preferred and encouraged.
• Ability to learn and prototype new technologies and recommend their use within Company products.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, test, and document applications and integrations using JavaScript, Java, .Net, and other OO languages.
• Provide production support for internally developed and third-party applications, processes, and reports.
• Act as application owner for incident management, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and production validation.
• Lead solution delivery and implementation for programs and projects, interfacing with Product Owners and stakeholders.
• Apply agile/scrum and DevOps practices, CI, and automated testing; troubleshoot performance issues.
• Collaborate with Product Team to ensure user stories are developer-ready and testable.
• Write custom code/scripts for destruction testing to validate resiliency in production.
• Adhere to maintenance plans, project schedules, and production requirement documents.
• Participate in learning activities around modern software design and development practices.
