Job summary

Luminai is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build, and improve the core infrastructure and systems that power the platform. You will help ensure reliability, scalability, and readiness for rapid growth across compute, data, and deployment environments.

You will lead backend projects, build shared libraries and APIs, and enhance CI/CD, testing, and local development workflows to support product engineers and front-end developers.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of shipping high-quality code in challenging projects.
• Significant experience working with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and backend services.
• Working knowledge of security best practices for cloud infrastructure and production systems (access control, secrets management).
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and an ability to work across the stack.

About the role

As a Software Engineer working on Platform, you will design, build, and improve the core infrastructure and systems that Luminai runs on, ensuring the platform is reliable, scalable, and ready to support rapid growth.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven track record of shipping high-quality code in challenging projects
• Significant experience working with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and backend services (Python and/or similar languages)
• Working knowledge of security best practices for cloud infrastructure and production systems (access control, secrets management, secure networking)
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and an ability to work across the stack
