Alpaca is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Payments & Treasury to build and scale global payment systems. You will design and implement services that manage millions of dollars daily, focusing on reliability and performance.

You will work with Go, microservices, and event-driven architectures on Google Cloud, leveraging Kubernetes for orchestration. A strong emphasis on API quality, security, and scalable data models is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with building scalable backend systems.
• Strong coding skills in Go and clean, tested code.
• Experience designing microservices and APIs at scale.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and container orchestration.
