Job summary

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead OpenShift and cloud platform initiatives. You will manage enterprise OpenShift environments, deploy IBM MQ on containerized platforms, and automate infrastructure to support secure, scalable cloud solutions.

The role requires strong hands‑on experience with OpenShift, Linux, and cloud security, along with expertise in automation and CI/CD tooling. This is a contract position with opportunities across Charlotte, NC and Iselin, NJ.

Qualifications

• OpenShift: 5+ years of hands‑on experience building, deploying, securing, and managing OpenShift platforms.
• Linux & Containers: 5+ years of experience with Linux, containerization, and container orchestration.
• IBM MQ: 3+ years of experience with queue managers, channels, clustering, TLS/security, and IBM MQ on OpenShift using the IBM MQ Operator.
• Infrastructure Automation: 3+ years of experience with Ansible, Terraform, Bash, Python, or equivalent automation tools.
• CI/CD & DevOps: 3+ years of experience with Jenkins, GitLab, Tekton, Harness, or Argo CD.
• Monitoring & Observability: 3+ years of experience with Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, AppDynamics, New Relic, or OpenTelemetry.
• Cloud & Security: Knowledge of Azure/Google Cloud Platform, networking, persistent storage, TLS, high availability, disaster recovery, and enterprise security controls.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
