Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of industry experience with a bachelor's or master's degree.
• Familiarity with ElasticSearch or OpenSearch is a plus.
• Proficiency in Java programming language.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design workshops focused on shaping the future of the company's search platform.
• Dedicate significant focus time to building and improving tooling for ElasticSearch/OpenSearch upgrades, using state-of-the-art language models as powerful engineering aides.
• Engage in 1:1 mentoring sessions with experienced staff engineers to develop technical and professional skills.
• Connect with team members and partners during in-person gatherings to align on goals and foster collaboration.
