Thompson Software Solutions seeks a Senior Software Engineer – Open Mission Systems (OMS) to advance software for a military aircraft platform. Location: Fort Worth, TX or Palmdale, CA.

You will develop, integrate, and test OMS components in a multi-site team, enabling fast capability integration and improved interoperability. The role requires a Bachelor's in STEM and 5+ years of C++ within Linux, DDS/pub-sub and service-oriented architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM required.
• 5+ years of C++ development experience.
• Experience with OMS software architecture and Linux environments.
• Familiarity with DDS/pub-sub messaging and service-oriented design.
• Experience defining interfaces and data models; simulation and testing.
