The Role
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Network Infrastructure team, you will help create a Kubernetes‑based networking stack that is dynamic, robust, and secure. You will design and implement the underlying technology that manages north‑south and east‑west traffic across multiple zero‑trust Kubernetes clusters, including the orchestration of thousands of firewall rules and the use of CNCF tools such as Envoy and Cilium.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead Palantir’s infrastructure strategy while addressing the needs of a diverse customer base.
- Build APIs that enable internal and external developers to interact with network infrastructure.
- Deeply understand and leverage Kubernetes networking primitives and the broader OSS ecosystem.
- Develop a long‑term roadmap to reduce operational burden, scale solutions, minimize risk, and achieve transformative impact.

What We Require
- At least 3 years of professional software‑development experience.
- At least 1 year of experience contributing to system design or architecture, including reliability, scaling, and design patterns.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Salary
The estimated salary range for this position is $135,000 – $200,000 per year. Total compensation will also include bonuses, equity, and other benefits.
