Job summary

FreedomPay is hiring for a senior software developer to join our Agile team. You will design, implement, and refine web applications using .NET, SQL, MVC, React/Angular, and TypeScript within a fast-paced, hybrid environment.

You will influence product design, ensure high-quality deliverables, and collaborate with internal stakeholders while maintaining secure coding practices and modern web technologies.

Qualifications

• 7 years’ experience in application development and testing using .NET and SQL.
• Strong web development using MVC, jQuery
• Deep understanding of SPA architectures, React, Angular, Redux, TypeScript, server-side rendering, API layers with security, JWT Tokens
• Exposure to agile software development
• Expert-level understanding of web technologies such as CSS, HTML, JavaScript, Websockets
• Strong Knowledge of web performance, localization, and accessibility best practices
• Experience breaking-down monolithic web applications into components
• Excellent problem solver who delivers innovative solutions
• Enjoys a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple projects during a sprint
• Reliable team member
• Experience with accurate task estimating and planning
• Effective English communication skills (Listening, Speaking, Writing)
• Strong SQL Server development skills
• Understanding of secure coding practices
• Familiarity with Git
• Microsoft Office
• Must pass a criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Work within the Agile Scrum team to create stories, tasks, estimates, and delivery each Sprint
• Analyze requirements and translate specifications into system designs
• Apply systems thinking to create solutions across environments and products
• Collaborate in the selection of software development tools and frameworks
• Influence product design by being the voice of maintainability
• Ensure the delivery of high quality and rigorously consistent products
• Contribute to the design of the company's software standard
• Code application libraries for re-usability and test ability
• Define projects, tasks, and release deliverables
• Contribute to software process improvement
• Strive to become a subject matter expert in FreedomPay products and the payment industry
• Interface with internal stakeholders
• Learn and adapt to the ever-changing hardware and software environments of payment systems and processing
• Update technical documentation
• Work with the QA team to ensure proper test plan, test coverage, test execution
