Job summary

DeWinter Group in Boston, MA is seeking a software engineer to help build reliable, scalable systems that automate business processes and deliver timely information to stakeholders.

You will work on client billing, commissions, cash flows, and rebate calculations, build and maintain APIs and data pipelines across SQL Server and Snowflake, and apply AI-assisted tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot to improve quality and productivity.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and support applications related to Client Billing, Commissions, Cash Flows, and Participant Rebate Calculations.
• Build and maintain APIs, integrations, and data pipelines across SQL Server, Snowflake, and external systems.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot to improve productivity and code quality.
• Investigate and resolve production issues to ensure system accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and IT teams to deliver business solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, sprint planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Engineer will help build reliable, scalable systems that automate business processes, integrate data, and deliver timely information to business partners.

The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a desire to learn financial

operations, and an interest in modern software engineering practices, including AI-assisted

development using tools such as Claude Code.
