Job summary

Google is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Mobile (iOS) for the Core team, based in Kirkland/Seattle, WA. The role emphasizes driving mobile engineering efforts, building scalable iOS applications, and contributing to core infrastructure.

As part of Google's Core team, you will design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software solutions with opportunities to switch projects. In-person interviews are common, and compensation includes a substantial base, bonus, equity, and comprehensive

  • Baby Bonding Leave: 18 weeks

Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

US: $174000 - $253000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
  • Write and test product or system development code.
  • Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
  • Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
  • Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
  • Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
