Parafin in San Francisco is seeking an experienced platform-focused software engineer to join our Merchant Platform team to build a scalable platform powering Parafin’s financial offerings.

You will own our core platform, work with engineering and non-engineering stakeholders to launch several new products, and regularly experiment to improve the end-user experience. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in backend/platform work, a CS degree, and a passion for high-quality software.

About the Position:

We are looking for an experienced platform-focused software engineer to join our Merchant Platform team in San Francisco to help build a scalable platform that will help power the suite of Parafin’s financial offerings. The Merchant Platform team owns the money movement infrastructure that powers all of Parafin as well as the suite of product-agnostic tools that enable product teams to delight the customers.

You will work with engineering and non-engineering stakeholders across the company to launch several new products and regularly experiment with our existing products to improve the end-user experience. You will own our core platform and help identify, prioritize, and execute on infrastructure opportunities to accelerate product development and maintain high levels of reliability.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong technical fundamentals, the ability to navigate ambiguity and take ownership of projects from inception to completion.

What We’re Searching For:
