NVIDIA Corporation seeks a Senior Software Engineer to drive Linux platform automation and cloud infrastructure across physical, virtual, and public cloud environments. You will lead Linux provisioning, patching, security hardening, and lifecycle management while collaborating with NVIDIA engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure infrastructure.

The role emphasizes automating infrastructure, solving complex Linux problems, and building dependable platforms for next-generation AI services.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field—or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of Linux systems, infrastructure, platform, site reliability, or cloud engineering experience.
• Deep hands-on experience administering, securing, and optimizing Linux environments.
• Proven cloud architecture and engineering experience in AWS or Azure.
• Strong shell scripting and automation skills, including a configuration management platform such as Chef or Ansible.
• Experience using Terraform to provision infrastructure.
• Experience with AI-native development and coding agents to multiply developer productivity.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will help drive the automation, design, and operation of the Linux platform that powers the physical Linux client experience all the way up to our large scale AI agent compute platform. You will support Linux environments across physical systems, virtual machines, and public cloud infrastructure while improving their scalability, reliability, and security. What you will be doing:

What we need to see:

• Expertise in Go or Python
• Experience using GitLab CI/CD or GitHub Actions to automate deployments.
• Experience designing and operating hybrid-cloud or multi-cloud Linux environments.
• Experience with container runtimes, Kubernetes, immutable infrastructure, or automated operating-system image pipelines.
