Work with Product and Customer Success to translate requirements into sound technical solutions using Ruby on Rails, React, AWS, and PostgreSQL, emphasizing secure, scalable development and robust reviews.

Qualifications

7+ years of professional software development experience.
Expert in Ruby on Rails, React, AWS, and PostgreSQL.
Proven history of making impactful technical decisions in production.
Strong cross-functional communication with engineers and stakeholders.
Experience in software architecture, system design, and scalability.
Mentoring or supporting junior engineers.
Experience with distributed or service-oriented systems and event-driven communication.
Ability to ramp quickly across multiple codebases.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and delivery of complex, well-scoped features end to end.
Write clear, maintainable, well-tested code, and reduce complexity.
Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
Evolve the platform to support new services across adjacent domains.
Partner with Product and Customer Success to translate requirements into sound technical solutions.

Follow best practices for secure, scalable, cloud-native web application development.
