Kimchi is seeking a senior full-stack engineer to join Kimchi Studio. You’ll own features end to end: design, implementation, testing and production rollout, collaborating with product and other engineering teams to solve problems that aren’t textbook.

You’ll work across Electron/React UI and Go backend, with strong debugging, UX focus, and a drive to deliver polished, fast software in a remote-first global environment.

Kimchi Studio

Studio is where your team’s agents work together: a desktop app that brings autonomous codingagents, model orchestration, and your entire toolchain into one collaborative UI. Multiple agents onseparate branches side by side with native git worktree support. Every agent action visible, diffable,
and undoable. Local first on your machine, remote sessions when you need them.
You’ll own features end to end: design, implementation, testing, production rollout. Most projectsship in 1-4 weeks. You’ll work directly with product and other engineering teams on problems thatdon’t have textbook solutions.

You might be a fit if…

• You’ve personally driven a complex product feature from idea to shipped, and you can tell thatstory with receipts.
• You’re a full-stack engineer: TypeScript where the product lives (Electron/React UI, Nodeservices) and Go where the backend lives. Strong in one, ready to go deep in the other, andhonest about which is which.
• You have deep debugging and performance instincts: when the app janks or a query slows down,you find the cause through query profiles and flame graphs.
• You care about UX, speed, and polish. In a desktop app every millisecond is visible, and you pushback when something feels wrong.

Bonus: shipping Electron apps at scale (updates, code signing, multi-platform builds), Kubernetesinternals, or building your own AI workflows and harnesses at home.
