Job summary

Harris Computer is seeking an experienced software developer to contribute to enterprise software applications using Core Java and Spring Boot. You will design, implement, and test RESTful services, collaborate with architects and product managers, and help drive system quality and scalability.

You will work with React/Next.js and UI frameworks, integrate relational and non-relational databases, and explore AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, algorithms, and system architecture.
• Familiarity with modern software development tools, frameworks, and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Write code and contribute to the development of software applications, modules, or components.
• Participate in higher-level aspects of the development process, such as requirements analysis, design, architecture, system integration, testing, and project management.
• Partake in testing code to identify and fix bugs and ensure the quality and reliability of the software.
• Collaborate with other team members to align with project goals and timelines.
• Familiar with Java core concepts, memory management, and concurrency/multithreading.
